That madman needs to learn to steer properly. This ship errors more than a slipstream drive and that's saying something. No wonder Harper had the good sense to leave.

I'll be glad to be back on a space-worthy vessel when I graduate and can do the same. [Scoff.]

Harper had the good sense to leave you, I'm sure that's what you meant.

I'm unaffected.

Why thank you. I was hoping I was the cause of him leaving. You're more generous than you give yourself credit for.

Any idea what it is yet?

I give myself a great deal of credit.

No. Posts seem normal, thus far. [And lol she is not going out until she knows what to expect. Or is made to. :|]

Cooper is affected. He doesn't seem to remember his warden's tendency to kill people that get in his way. [Because some of the others at least wait until they're angry!]

Induced amnesia? Have you noticed anyone else?

Not yet.

[No, wait. He's doing network checking.]

...On Snape's journal. Someone seems confused.

It bears watching.

Give me three minutes. [And he's off. He's going to check the hall a bunch of times before knocking on her door. Better to speak in common, where both their super ears can moderate their speech, rather than over the network.]

[She's there to open the door immediately, trusting that he made sure no one saw him. Once Rhade was inside, she locked the door again.]

Did you encounter anyone affected?

No. [He shakes his head as he finds a seat, pulling out his flexi to keep an eye on things.]

There's a chance I might be able to get some materials off Narvin, by the way. But I'll have to figure out a way to keep him out of my head. [Not that Narvin was the most savoury character to deal with.]

[She flares her nostrils at that, holding onto her PADD.] That will be dangerous. I can't help you. [Without completely wiping his mind and then trying to restore it, anyway, and Narvin would be able to figure that out. She hates dealing with full telepaths; they have it so much easier.]

I know it'll be dangerous. Braxiatel could probably cover it up afterwards. [He leans his head back and shuts his eyes.] Any luck with your warden?

She's affected. [Said while staring at her PADD. What is this. Wryly:] She seems to think my hair has grown.

[He sits up, a little hopeful.]

Do you believe it can at least buy you some time without her monitoring?

It's possible. She's under the impression that I'm still a warden; if I can convince her I'm competent, then it's possible.

I've asked for access to the lab.

I think if we keep our efforts divided up, we still stand a pretty good chance of success.
