Letters slipped under doors to respective parties...

Coordinator Narvin,

You probably recall our previous disagreements, and I wouldn't blame you for holding a grudge. I hope you accept this apology as an offering of peace beneficial to us both.

I am a competitive person, likely more so than most as Nietzscheans embrace the biological urge to place ourselves against others for comparison. A debate to us can enrage another, and in our self-interest we can often lose perspective on the needs of our fellow sentients.

In actuality, you have something that I envy; pride in your people. When you speak about Time Lords, no matter what your word choice you obviously love your race and your culture. Only three hundred years in the future, Nietzschean political structure evolves into something abhorrent, and I doubt I could maintain my sense of pride through that.

The core ideals of my people though, those are something I will always hold close. I hope that one day you will see the benefit of instincts that drive you for companionship or for incorporating new aspects into your person and culture. Most of all, however, I hope you maintain your pride in your heritage as a Time Lord.

Harper,

I know that our interactions haven't been the most amicable since our first encounter, and given that I'm a Nietzschean and you are one of Captain Hunt's new crew your trepidation is understandable. I've debated whether to address you with anger or with jealousy, but now I find what I feel most is regret. Regret that I won't be able to get to know a survivor better, and regret that my people put you in such a position that a struggle for survival was necessary.

I am a Nietzschean, and a true Nietzschean. I act out of enlightened self-interest, which my people as you and Tyr have described them have forgotten. That the good of the many is good for the one, and your actions should benefit the progression of all, while keeping your own individuality in mind. That is a Nietzschean. They're not capitalists or slavers or hedonistic sadists. They don't kill each other for sport or disrespect their fellow Prides. The Nietzscheans that you encountered are laughable farces, nationalists that pretend to follow ideals they twist to suit their purposes.

I despise what my people became, and I expected better of them. I betrayed the most important person left in my world for them, though, and if your people and your planet weren't a consequence I would say that it was fitting that I was betrayed in my absence.

I don't expect Dylan to forgive my actions, nor should he. I don't even expect him to believe in my regret. What I do hope that you believe is that while I have no faith in what the Commonwealth was doing at the end, at what they did to my people, that I do have faith in Dylan. At his side, he will struggle through all the unnecessary, idealistic risks that he takes to make sure that you survive against what seem to be insurmountable odds. You may have figured this out, but he'll make sure you have a good life.

So when you return thank him for giving you what I deprived you of.

Dear Braxiatel,

I've had few friends in the past, and I should tell you until recently you've been the one that I've gone the longest knowing without some form of subterfuge or ill-intent. It has been, in a word, pleasant. I'm sorry to have sullied it, and I hope you will accept my apology and my assurance that it won't be repeated.

Take care of

Tell your brother not to

I think that you

Graduate.

Sincerely,
Gaheris Rhade
