I'm a Wii bit euphoric.
So.
I bought a Nintendo Wii the other day with the new Zelda game. This is noteworthy due solely to the fact that I just don't buy consoles.... or play too many video games....
Price wise the Wii is very reasonable for a new console fresh on the market when compared to the Sony & Microsoft new consoles.
I'd like to think that I made the smart decision when I'm ambling around my house after a bottle of wine and pick up the controller. Motion sensitivity is an easier avenue of fault when you drink and game as opposed to the shrill cry of "I HAVE FAT FINGERS!".
Do you know how hard it is to perform those crazy combo shit things in Dead Or Alive or Tekken. Fuck that noise.
I always love to research new purchases ( a smarter consumer would research before making the purchase; im impulsive by nature so I deal with the consequenses in stride).
So I go onto to gamer boards to get a feel for what the Wii can do out of the box and how easy it is to get homebrew programs running on it. 5 minutes on the gamerboards and I realize why I don't buy consoles... Hardcore gamer lingo is the kryptonite to my libido. not that i'm reading the gamer boards with a woody... but i just get so irritated with how heated these people get over rumors and console bashing....
seriously, it wasn't cool when I was in Kindergarten and your Batman lunchbox was cooler than my Super Mario Bros lunchbox.
At least mario was getting laid by the princess behind the scenes...
Batman had Alfred....
I'm leaving work in 30 minutes to go wave the controller nunchuck around and give myself a concussion.
