20inspirations Round 35 - The Walking Dead
I find this show to be really hard to color (for some reason) so I chose it to try and push myself out of my comfort zone.
For this round I picked "2 styles that you have to combine" The ones I got are; Style 5: Bold Colors and Contrast and Style 7: Close-up and obscure crops. So this ended up to be disappointingly too difficult for me. I reallyyy tried to make this work but as I said before; coloring this show I find ridiculously hard to do. (???) I only managed three icons of the styles I got to combine though (ugh) lol. Otherwise, this was a lot of fun!
1. Style 10 & 6. The cap was perfect for this combination really. I think it gets the feeling~ across really well.
2. Style 10 & 7.
3. Style 6 & 10. I've seen a few 'extreme' negative space icons lately (that I love) and I thought I'd give it a try here.
4. Style 10 & 7.
5. Style 9 & 7. I'm reallyyy feeling the close crops lately. I wanted a washed out look to this, simple but the crop makes it dynamic I think.

7. Style 3. I loved how this turned out so much that I kept the two color variants as well (see below).
8. Style 6. I have so many ideas to try with this cap, I couldn't choose! So I just went the simple route this time.
9. Style 3 & 5. This one is borderline experimental and I really love it! I'm very happy with how the coloring turned out and the use of that particular texture which is one of my favorites (I used it previously here). This is the cap I used and this texture (by fyeahkpopedits) overlapped on top of it.
10. Style 2 & 3. I wasn't quite sure what to do with these caps so I ended up with this.
11. Style 1 & 6. This cap was too cool to pass up! The low angle shot makes this really interesting as an icon, I think. And I really love how the coloring turned out.
12. Style 7 & 1. I didn't know what to do with this cap really. So this is kind of uninspired and rather flat.
13. Third combined styles icon. This is..ok? I'm not really feeling the coloring but it's good enough.
14. This is the first icon that I completed for the combined styles that I got. I like how the coloring and lighting turned out.
15. Style 8. I had a plan but this sort of..happened. I find it weird af but I like it.
16. Style 4 & 5. I have no idea what I'm doinggg~~ I really need to work with it more often.
17. Second icon for the combined styles. I've been wanting to use this cap for a while now and it's mostly turned out how I had thought about doing it.
18. Style 3. This is totally different from how I began it but I really like it!
19. Style 1. I've been wanting to do something with this cap for a while but never got a result that I liked, until today! I'm really enjoying the colors and contrast.
