There are those folks who drift into your life and you mutually establish an affinity with them. Oddly enough, they stay on you mind and (usually imaginary) Christmas card list even after they drift out of your life. I don't know how many times in two months I find myself saying, "I wonder what's happened to…"
I just got off the phone with one of these people - Algernon. The last time I saw him was the Small Press Expo two or three years ago. Then he vanished from irl sightings and AIM chats and goth lists.

He plans to make his return to clubbing appearance this weekend at JDC.
