September 1953 -- Nauseous Kitchens Edition
All of the following really DID turn up when I Google'd "September 1953".
I don't remember EVER seeing kitchens in this color when I was growing up. My bathroom wallpaper, yes (with turquoise and black tile), but never kitchens...
Okay, the following isn't really pink, and I must admit that my
mother did have the same red laminate counters (not in this profusion, tho) --
but not that floor, which I remember seeing elsewhere as a child
(I think were asbestos tiles)...
