Kyo & Mao & Ruki
First times
Ruki's house
PG-13
Ruki woke up at 3:12pm feeling considerably better than he had the day before. Perhaps Reita's magical tea was really as magical as he seemed to believe? Whatever; as long as Ruki could breathe, he really didn't care about why.
The house was alarmingly quiet, what with Olivia out shopping as usual and Reita being who the fuck knew where. Probably out threatening someone, or maybe actually working at his video store. It was a miracle that that place stayed alive what with its manager there about once a month.
He sighed, climbing down the stairs and rubbing his eyes under his sunglasses before staring at the door. Part of him sort of wished someone would knock on it- anyone- to alleviate the boredom that was settling far too early.
knock knock knock
Surely Ruki's luck day, in the fact that not just one person was arriving to alleviate the boredom that plauged the pusher, but two people. And one he hadn't even met yet.
The blonde teacher shot a glance back at his student, giving a reassuring smile, and comforting words. "He won't bite." I hope.
Honestly, Kyo had an infinite amount of trust in his long time friend, even if he often didn't show or say it.
Biting hadn't really been the problem Mao was expecting from this man who apparently shared all of the same people with him. Rather, what he really feared was infinite confusion based on what he'd heard about him. That and the fact that he sold drugs. Didn't most dealers do drugs? Would he be high right now? Because that would just be...
very awkward.
"Um... okay."
Ruki, for his part, was more than a little surprised that his front door was actually listening to him. Maybe he was just going insane, but that didn't mean he shouldn't check, and so despite the fact that it hardly seemed possible that someone could have showed up just as he was wishing for it, he walked slowly to the front door and opened it up only to see two people.
"Oh. Kyo. And..."
Who?
"...you."
Mao just smiled awkwardly in response. What a weird looking guy.
A pleased smile, because really, Kyo enjoyed visiting his friend, maybe more than he enjoyed giving those so well deserved F's all the time. But he wouldn't honestly tell the other that, that would just be odd.
"Ruki, this is Mao..." A pause, because he knew somehow they were connected, he just couldn't quite remember how.
"Doesn't your wife know him?"
Prehaps another way as well?
"It's possible," Ruki said carefully. He remembered Olivia mentioning several people she knew, but since he didn't know them, he'd never had a reason to remember their names unless she talked about them a lot. He looked at Mao. "Does she?"
"Uh... I'm her friend." The student bit his lip, feeling so incredibly awkward. "So does Temari. And I work for Reita."
"Oh. Okay. I'm sorry." Ruki didn't wait for a response before turning back to his friend. "Did you all come here for a powwow or what?" It didn't occur to him to ask why exactly Kyo was going anywhere with a student, despite the fact that he hated pretty much all of them.
A raised eyebrow at his student; Mao was connected to that many people involved with Ruki? Add himself to the list, and Kyo almost felt bad for the small student.
Attention turned back to the other short man, the blonde teacher only shook his head. "Powwow?" The mental image of Ruki that was brought to mind only made Kyo want to burst out laughing, something he mastered with greta difficulty.
"No, we only came to hang out."
"Right, okay." Ruki was genuinely thrilled even if he didn't really show it. He hadn't seen Kyo in a while, just talked to him on the phone for five minutes or so until his friend snapped that he had to go give some more Fs and hung up. "You want food? I've got food, though Kai got a little happy with his special omelettes today so I'm not sure how much is left." He turned to walk into the house, his way of inviting them in.
Mao followed, not too surprised by the seemingly bizarre hospitality the pusher was showing. After all, he was known to be a freak... and he was a pusher.
The house seemed just as impressive as the first time he'd been in it, possibly because the circumstances were much more pleasant than finding out his friend was pregnant. This time he had a bit more time to gawk at the expensive, though sort of old looking, furniture and unnecessary amount of space. How long had Ruki lived in a place of this size alone?
The blonde teacher followed behind, slamming the door shut and knowing that Ruki really wouldn't care.
"As long as I get to check everything you put in." A teasing joke, even if he really meant it. And by now, he knew Ruki wouldn't take offense, just make some comment on Kyo being smart, or say nothing at all.
"Are you hungry, Mao?"
"I... sure," Mao answered, truly not sure if he was or not. He felt awkward being fed by a pusher; after all, what if he mistook cocaine for sugar and they all severely overdosed and died in the middle of his living room? It seemed pretty unlikely, but anything was possible. He didn't seem all that bad, though. Just a bit...
Distant?
Sort of? It was hard to describe the impression he was getting.
"Such little faith," Ruki replied quietly before opening his fridge. There wasn't much left besides cheese, vegetables and a carton of orange juice. The next thing he taught Kai to do would definitely be shopping for groceries.
"I rest my faith in my own eyes, at least when I'm in your house." A grin that under any other circumstances would have been downright mocking, but when shot the pusher's way, was only endearing.
It wasn't that he didn't trust Ruki, didn't think that he kept tabs on every little bag of drugs he owned, he just worried that with more people in the house now, some could have...
escaped.
"I don't blame you. I never told you about the time Reita mistook GHB for salt and tried to really fuck up my coffee and... achieved way more than he wanted to." A small laugh, because as infuriating as it had been at the time, it was actually pretty funny by that point. That and it had opened his mind in the strangest of ways. He opened his freezer and grabbed a container of ice cream. Olivia's, but he'd buy her a new one. She'd be so terribly pissed off if there was no food in the house, especially since the thing growing inside of her was apparently extremely gluttonous.
"Do you like ice cream? My robot's cooked everything else, it seems." And now most of it was in the trash, but he liked to pretend Kai had feelings that he should avoid hurting.
"You should sleep." Words directed toward the little student before a look was given saying that it was better not to argue, because generally speaking, Kyo knew what he was talking about. The way to Ruki's room was pointed out, before attention was turned back to the pusher himself.
"But I'll take some." And with that, Kyo sat himself down at the table before resting his feet up on the table and only grinning so charmingly at his long time friend, waiting for what he just knew was going to happen.
Go on then, Ruki.
Mao was slightly surprised, but only sort of. Surely the teacher would want to talk to Ruki without him there. Stuff that people of age were meant to discuss, particularly when one randomly showed up at the other's house with some random kid...
"O-okay."
He headed in the direction Kyo was pointing in, trusting that he'd get lost for a while but end up in the right place eventually.
Ruki was quiet for a moment as he prepared Kyo's ice cream, unsure exactly how to ask the teacher just why he'd shown up at his house with a student. It was abnormal on so many levels, even to him. And he would have asked upon turning around except for the fact that there were feet on his table.
"Oi." He was beside Kyo in no time, pushing his legs just as he did every time someone dared to mess with him like that. "Knock that off or I'll buy a chainsaw for next time you come over."
He sat down, putting his head down and staring up at Kyo in a feeble attempt to prevent him from doing it again.
"So... what's that about?"
Outright laughter at Ruki's attempt to keep him from putting any type of limb that wasn't supposed to be there back on his table. But he wouldn't, one was enough, and he would never go so far as to truly annoy his friend.
A spoonful of ice cream, and Kyo shrugged, glancing back at where the other had dissappeared too. How in the world did he explain it?
"He's my student..." He'd start out slowly, at least. "And we fucked." How would Ruki react?
Ruki didn't react for a moment, as he really didn't know how to. A normal friend would probably chide Kyo for doing such a thing, but... Ruki wasn't a normal friend. It didn't seem all that bad to him, really, considering his chosen lifestyle. At least Kyo had... a relatively normal job, even if he treated it as an excuse to be a villain.
So he just sat up properly, adjusted his sunglasses to get a better look at Kyo and decide if he was joking or not. Oh, well; even if he was, the conversation would be amusing as a result.
"...Was it good?"
Good? Kyo hadn't really thought of that. Compared to what he had gotten before, not really, but compared to what Mao was, who Mao was?
"For a virgin, it was good."
The blonde teacher shrugged, downing another scoop, not bothering to tell the other that Mao and he had been involed sexually before. It had to be pretty obvious given past experience.
A virgin? Ruki had no idea what to make of that. A student giving a teacher his virginity, a high school student being a virgin at all... it was all a little bit surprising to him.
"He gave you his virginity?" He looked in the direction Mao had gone. "He seemed a little too quiet to do that so easily. What'd you do, lead him on to being in love with you?"
Wouldn't be all that surprising. Sort of sad, but... not surprising.
An almost outraged look, and Kyo opened hiw mouth, fully prepared to scream and bitch and hollar, all to defend himself, but as soon as the words sunk in, the blonde teacher only went pale.
He hadn't had he?
What if he had?
"I uh... I should get some sleep too." The ice cream was shoved away, and Kyo stood far to quickly, giving one last, almost sick look at his friend before staggering down the hallway towards Ruki's room.
Why in the world did he feel so horrible if that were the case?
