Question: Is it possible to create 2 person teams? I write a pretty fine story, but the visuals are beyond my imagination and technology. Is it possible for me to pair up with a visual person who is challenged in writing?
The challenge is to be completed individually, as the point is for all of us to have some fun with a variety of mixed media endeavours and to challenge ourselves a little. In terms of what is beyond your technology, I've provided resources for just about everything, did you take a thorough look at them? Everything is free and compatible with MAC and PC.
The point of the challenge isn’t to try and ‘win’ anything, or to try and be ‘the best’ at any particular challenge; it’s to challenge yourself and your creativity with a variety of tasks. That’s why every requirement is as basic as can possibly be. That’s also why, as I stated in the post, everyone gets a congratulatory banner for participating, even those who only do one or two of the challenge requirements.
that's fine, I wasn't in it to 'win' anything. I just think it's unreasonable to ask everyone to do everything, that's all. some of us are skilled that way, others are not and will automatically feel sidelined. that's life, I guess.
for those who are able and capable to do it all, it will be fun to watch you, for the rest of us, we'll just do what we can
For the song mix, you can literally just list song names and the artist along with a title indicating which character/ship the song mix is for. We really have tried to make this as easy/accessible as possible. Any graphics or song clips are certainly welcome, but not at all required.
Also, this isn't a contest to create the "prettiest" or "fanciest" anything. It's just to get us all having some fun and dabbling in all kinds of fandom-related creativity.
Everyone here gets an A+ regardless of how much they can complete! ;) That's why rococoms and I will be handing out congratulatory banners to absolutely everyone who participates, even if you only post one thing! :) But of course, we'd love to see everyone try new and exciting things, that's the fun of fandom after all!
Welcome aboard! We welcome any and all kind of participation! Take a look at the resources I provided if you change your mind and you feel like tackling the graphics aspect of the challenge as well.
If I'm already 12 caps into a 21 cap picspam, can I count the other 9 that I'll be capping after this post, and just come up with a 10th? (I was doing three from each ep Hobbs was in, and so far, am made of epic fail when it comes to finishing and getting that posted.)
You can count all 21 if you like! As long as it's posted between Feb 14 and Feb 28. 10 is the minimum, but picspams that have more than 10 photos are certainly welcome as well. I just did one tonight for the challenge and it has 15 photos. :)
...and if I'm officially late, can I still post it, since I wasn't going to be able to complete the whole challenge anyway? (I have 30 minutes of free time before work, and won't be home at my own computer until tomorrow, as I'm staying with my parents rather than make the commute home just to drive back tomorrow--over an hour each way on the bus is one thing...driving...no.)
