division meet
saturday was my last division met for swim, and it could not have gone any better. we finished 3 over all, but everyone did really well. A-Rahn finally got under a minute in his fly (i was so proud of him)!! i ending up having the best meet of my life though. i started the day out with a second place finish in the 200 free, next i had the 200 free relay (arahn, burch, steve, and myself), we finished second to anchor bay, but we broke our record again from earlier this year (1:37.2). next was my breastroke!!! i dropped 3 seconds taking first with a 1:07.22, i broke the silver division record!!, i finished up the day with our 400 free relay (arahn, burch, steve, myself), we broke the silver division record and the anchor bay pool record with a 3:40.3. thats not all though, completely oblivious to my knowledge, i some how got the mvp of the meet!! so the just completely made my day, i was on cloud nine!
after the meet i was talking to steve (the AB coach) and he invites my whole team to a lock-in at the pool for saturday night. it was so much fun, btu the high light of the night was when we through a rope into the rafters in the pool area, and were swinging from like a 15 to 20 foot ledge, into the water, i was a great time. steve invited us back for next years, he even invited me back, and i have to say the i am definitely looking forward to it!
today in the last chance meet at LCN 5:30. i'm going for my state cuts in the 50 free and the 100 breast. i really hope that i get them, cause the would be an even more perfect end to my senior year. arahn is also going for his 50 free and his 100 free cuts, i hope he gets them as well. good luck to him!!
