[Private to the Marquis]

To answer your question: yes.

[/Private]

This idleness is no good for me, and many of the things I enjoyed doing aren't exactly accessible here.

I need a... hobby. What does everybody else do to pass the time? Aside from writing in journals.

hobbies!, bored now, needs a life

I'm not adverse to it. It could liven things up around here-- well, if we had any currency.

Fuck currency. You not got any possessions?

Look... every witless cunt guy, his mother and his mother's mother know how to work a deck. I helped run an executive game a coupla times down my way. Back then, it was what, five thousand dollars a seat? Lasted up to three days.

High stakes, anyhoo.

We just need a room... aaaand enough guys to put together a decent pot.

Could even keep it tame for now. Low stakes.

Some.

Well, I know Charlie's been wanting to start up a game. And I'm sure Lloyd would be happy to join. Most of the others probably think they're too good for us 'mere mortals,' though.

Some'll work.

And sure -- I'm down with whoever.

We start out small, but have it open table, yeah? If them entities up there decide to join in, then they can. If not? ... Then no worries. It stays a quiet do.

Hell, we can leave an advertisement if need be. However you wanna play it, ah-- I don't think I caught your name.

Excellent. Certainly sounds more interesting than talking through journals. And the Barge likes to supply me with liquor ever since I tried to quit drinking it keeps appearing in my room. so we should have plenty on that end.

Major Henry West, by the way. And yourself?

Yeah. Couple of days, we can organize some meet in a common room. Set up a table, bring some decks, some crap from the mess hall and said drink.

Wait---supplies restock?

... Right. That count for more than liquor?

Ralph Cifaretto. And Major, huh? US army or what?

Some supplies do, but I've also heard of things disappearing. I suppose it's up to whatever amuses the Admiral most.

No, British. I take it you're an American, then.

And yeah. Italian American... New Jersey.

Pardon? I could barely read that.

I suppose there are quite a lot of my countrymen here. The Barge has some great diversity, though. English, American, alien, French...

So they guy I talked to before -- the one who said he was Han. He actually was Han? Like... Harrison Ford, Han? George Lucas. Galaxy far, far away?

I suppose so. I'm not really sure how this all actually works, myself.

It's very, very real. Unfortunately.
