RUN TO HOWL!!!! RUNNNNN!
*exhales long and slowly*
Wow! Well, I was talkting to my friends, Lizzi and Emma on MSN and trying to see when we could see Howl. Basically, I don't think Lizzi and Julia wanted to go. REALLY didn't, for some wierd unknown reason. Maybe because if it's something I like and I'm associated with, it's wierd and crap, right? There was a showing at 3:00 and the next train to Reading was in 9 min, so I was like,
'Hurry up and tell me if your gonna go today, tomorrow or next week ok?? Otherwise I'll go by myself ' Thankfully Emma, said I might as well go if I wanted (Thankyou!)
This insued me phoning my Mum, finding my tights and convincing her for me to go in 4 minutes. Saying, 'bye I'm going to the cinema' on msn and running and locking the door. I ran to the station, where I was about to get a ticket when this nice guy (getting the same train as me)comes and says
'Uhhh... There's no trains today, but there's a bus service, I don't know where it is though...'
'Waaaaah?' *face in distress*
'Uh, yeah'
'Erm, thankyou'
And there I set off with to Saisbury's with my Teddy Bear backpack bobbing up and down. I bought some milk because I'd drank all the milk in the house with cereal in the morning and bought NOM. While I was walking back home, I saw a bus that said 'Replacement service or whatever' and with some spur of the moment thing just though, 'What the hell, let's go, I'll just be sitting at home depressingly failing my friends, right'
Got a free bus ride, when I tried to offer the guy my money he sounded like he was swearing and something about a train ticket, made me think of the Nazi bus driver in Ctrl+Alt+del. Anywho, i got a free bus ride to Reading. This was at 2:50, so i was pretty bummed thinking i might miss the movie, but I might as well try. Sat near some people who kept swearing and thought they were cool -_-, but I had NOM mag so that was ok.
Ran to VUE at about 3:10. WWhen I went to buy my ticket I opened my purse and gave him the coins I'd earlier uhhh... MISCOUNTED. Scrounging around having basically just enough,
a)either go home now, no movie, and a crap bad ending story of taking a bus
b) Just go, I ran basically all the bloody way, I have a phone, even if my mum tells me off for not counting my pennies....
Went in, (trailers still running yay!) and loved it. Beautiful atmospheric music, beautiful book, loved Howl, Sophie was pretty cool. It was amazingly pretty I nearly cried, HOW DO THEY HAVE SUCH GOOD ART?!!?! It's like a beautiful painting with animation inside it. So beautifully done. I was kinda hoping the nice guy would be there and be some kinda otaku or something lol. I just want to meet otaku people everywhere. I can't believe there's only 3/4 screenings a day of Howl! it sucks. More people need to see it, it was pretty full when I went though which is good ^_^.
Well when I got out my mum offered to me a lift anyway so HAPPY DAY! All worked out well. ^.^.
I ALSO got another 'Hunt for Deoxy' letter. no idea what the prizes are... i just want to enter to see!
Today I was dressed:
Super Japanese in a smothered down , gothic lolita style kinda dress.
Polka dot hairband, blue and white
Yin and Yang checkered dress
Black tights and shoes
Laura Ashley what top.
And I wore my winter coat as well, I like to look like I'm from winter.
