AU challenge writing phase and Secret Santa prompting phase kick-off.

Okay, prompt claiming for the AU challenge is closed and we're now going into the writing phase. You have time until November 21st to write your prompts and then until December 5th to post the stories. To make it a little easier to keep track of who claimed which post, I'll post a list:

Last year, we agreed on using the rules of sga_santa (thanks to moonlettuce for letting us use them :)) and I think it's safe to say we can use them this year again, right? So, here's the sign-up template:
Things I'd like: You can request as many things as you'd like in here. That doesn't mean you'll get them all, but there's no harm in asking. If you'd like a specific genre, universe etc. then speak now or forever hold thy peace :-)
Things I wouldn't like: If there's anything you wouldn't like to receive (AU, characters acting OOC, character death...) then here's the place to mention it.
What I can do: Fluff writer? Drama is yours? Please state here.
What I can't do: If there's anything you feel you can't do, then please say so here. If you can't write NC-17 fic, or character death etc. please say so.
Pinch hitter?: In the event of someone not being able to complete their gift!fic, are you willing to be stand-in writer?
Sign-ups will be open until November 15th and I hope I can match up all writers until November 22nd. Fics are to be posted between December 20th and 25th. In the fic post, please post the name of the recipient but don't reveal it in any other postings or comments before this. sga_santa states a minimum length of 1,000 words per story but I think it's okay to make it a minium of 100 words for this community. Is everyone okay with that? Please remember that this is an exchange so don't sign-up if you don't think you'll be able to post your story in time.
As for Cadman/Lorne: The stories don't have to be romance, they can also be friendship, UST, pre-ship etc. It's only important that they contain both Evan Lorne and Laura Cadman as protagonists.

- a Law&Order!AU- One's the laywer the other the cop. They could have a history or meet for the first time.
- Some kind of futuristic AU. Maybe Lorne and Cadman, space marines?
- Heist AU. "Be specific but not memorable, be funny but don't make him laugh. He's got to like you then forget you the moment you've left his side."
- FBI/Cop AU - protective custody.
- Kid!Fic - Single Parents meeting.
- Bomb disposal team AU (Cadman's a little vague on the whole 'not blowing things up' thing)
