Very, very funny if you have any experience of fandom, and like most Pegg/Frost films you lose track of the in-jokes and references. Hardly highbrow, but it left darth_hamster and me in stitches.
Indeed most enjoyable - although there were many points myself and Emmzzi would suddanly become aware we were the only people laughing ... I'm sure we were the only people in the cinema that twigged to the music in the roadhouse ..
We were going to see it yesterday until Cambridge Vue decided the 5.30 screening should be for over 18s only. No reason given. By then, we'd missed the 3pm, which would have been ok. Next weekend we'll be checking the rules very carefully and trying again.
In the meantime, we owe a huge monkey thankyou to la_marquise_de_ and the marquis for giving up on their chance to see Paul so we could have our own screening of Desperado at their place with 36 flavours of ice cream.
