En esta historia sólo yo me muero
Ok...I had all these things I wanted to post about, but now they've mostly escaped me.
I shall do a standard progress report, then!
1. Kitchen remodel: We've got the cabinet door style decided and the stain type finalized. They've started the fabrication and the guy'll get back to me on demolition, but it won't be this upcoming Monday. My dad and I will be going out probably today to decide on the floor tile and faucet-sink combo, and maybe look at garbage disposals.
Counter-top selection we're leaving until after the cabinets are in, so that's one fire that's no longer under us^^;
2. Official business? I got my application in today to renew my Taiwanese passport. Whew, what a trial (even though I guess in general it wasn't, comparatively). Apparently the mugshots I had were no-go because while it's ok to have glasses, the rim cannot obscure ANY part of the eyes or eyebrows. This is pretty much impossible with my narrow lenses, so I had to run downstairs to the CVS and take glasses-less mugshots there. Ooooooooh boy did they turn out ugly as hell. ^^; Ahhh, such is life!
3. I paid/am paying a bunch of bills. March will probably forever be a sucky month for me since I used to have my insurance all staggered, but now my homeowner & renters insurance are both renewing in March along with my vehicle registration and car insurance. I kinda don't even want to think about taxes, though I HAVE to because I didn't want to think about taxes in January, when the various tax forms started showing up and now....it's March. :P And I suspect putting it off would be a BAD idea - once the kitchen remodel work starts everything will be crazy, and it's already hard enough to find stuff around the house as it is without adding demolition and utter chaos to it.
4. Work: Is mostly ok! We're dealing with beginning of month crazies right now, but it's only mildly crazy. My boss is taking next Monday and my coworker is taking next Friday off though, and by the time the week is over we'd be in the mid-month crunch (so I can't take a day off...unless I'm seriously dying or something. :P). Ahhh, they beat me to it!
Though it's kinda funny that my coworker noticed that I had been taking about a day off per month (with a few skips in between) using sick days (I like to call them mental-health days). And here I thought I was being soooo sneaky.^^;
5. Supernatural: season 7 is so...SPARKLY. No, seriously, I was kind of ambivalent at the beginning because there's just so much shit you can heap on characters before it just becomes sad, but I really liked ....lessee, from about eps 10 on. Though...BOBBY. I can't believe they sort of (?) offed Bobby. I LIKED BOBBY. And Rufus too. ;_; ...well, I really like Sheriff Mills too, so here's to hoping she doesn't get hit with the curse of Women Who Hang Around Winchester Men (i.e. they die horribly). But then again...this IS Supernatural. Dying horribly is practically the standard M.O.
The clowns episode was awesome. So was the back to the past one (FEDORAS, OMG). The latest one with Lucifer and Sam working together gave me chills while giving me giggles. The actor for Lucifer really is excellent - I feel like everyone's extremely excellent this season. The boy who played young!Bobby - my good god, he was adorable. He was even more adorable than little Sam, and I LIKE Collin Ford.
My biggest gripe is still, "*sob* Bobby!" and the fact that they had to give up driving the Impala. Just.........NOOOOOO, I miss her ;_;. In the flashback in 7.15, we saw her! She was so gorgeous. WHHHHHHYYYYYYYY. Leviathans must die, grrr. The wedding episode kind of give me hives, though Dean was hilarious through out. (And awwwwwwww, he got a hugggggg.)
And the line nearest and dearest to my heart (for now):
Sam: I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope you're watching cartoon smut, cuz reading Dick Roman crap over and over again is just self punishment.
Dean: ....*closes laptop* It's called anime. And it's an art form.

Ok, back to...taxes, I suppose, since I can't get my insurance paid online so I'll have to write a check. Booo...
