...Returning home (to visit)
Wouldn't it be more like 'Homecoming' in English? '_'
Anyway, planning my trip back to Taiwan, it's looking like it'll be February of next year, after Chinese New Year's (and unfortunately, probably overlapping it a bit). March, my coworker's expecting to go on maternity leave for her baby, and May is my brother's wedding. And I really, really, REALLY don't want to be in Taiwan anywhere in May and past it, apparently it's still stiflingly hot there, even in October.
My mom apparently had plans in mind for what we can do already...o_0; So far it's got nature - a visit to Alishan (Mt. Ali), which will apparently be very cold, but scenic (and good exercise, mountain climbing!), culture - there's an exhibition in Taipei...for flowers? I didn't quite get all of that, and lastly, family-times...of which I'm sorta 'eh' about, but family-times can be tolerated for good food and shopping. :D (I have SO much manga I need to catch up on buying. :P note to self: make a list).
So, yeah. I'll be out some money, but that's why I don't vacation EVERY year. Mostly I'm just pumped cuz I'll get to see my mom again! :D :D :D
