So baby drive slow 'til we run out of road
It's the weekend, yay!
I started playing Xenosaga again last night, the dvd sure left out a lot of random stuff (most important of which was Jr's 'Give them a little nudge' scene, but I'm not bitter about that, really). It's pretty neat to see how the graphics have evolved - the game used to look very new and cutting edge to me, even though it wasn't even that when I started playing, but compared to XS3, or FFXII (which I've only seen my brother play), it's super chunky and grainy now.
But the game play is still pretty nifty. :) I'd forgotten the whole various-ways-to-cheat thing, and since I had gone to mess around on one of my right-before-end-boss saves, I was forcefully reminded of the Boost option. This was because the enemies kept boosting and kicking me out of the event slots I wanted, which was a huge pain the ass because then I could never decide to use up all my AP or do only one action and save the rest for a Tech attack...
ANYWAY.
Have been bad this week, food-wise. Will try to be good this weekend. It might be that-time-of-the-month related. I hope so, because it's pretty sad to think that my self control is usually this bad. :P
