I feel like Thanksgiving has come early! Mel, Josie and I went to paint cups today at Paint-a-dream. This was a brilliant idea by yours truly (I think it was...or it might've been anyone else in the Coffee Night Collective Hive Brain) to get our own personalized cups to leave at Isa's so that we don't leave a little forest of plastic cups and straws every Coffee Night (or if you're me, every time I go). I know the few times I brought my tall thermos cup I've saved at least two or three cups of plastic, so I'm hoping this'll work out too!
Mine turned out okay, pre-firing. I wonder what it'd look like after...?
Er, that has nothing to do with feeling like Thanksgiving came early. What made it feel like Thanksgiving came early was going to Souplantation afterward and then eating a very light dinner just now followed by a nice slice of pie and a ton of strawberry ice cream. THAT feels like Thanksgiving.
I'm almost done with my to-dos! Just have to finalize a picture, and then I think I'm off anthology duty and back to cranking out translations. I hope to do some summaries for Silver Diamond so that fellow fangirls can fangirl with me. :D And I want to draw. Did a little during Coffee Night (That's how I have a picture to finalize), but it's hard now that I'm used to that really nice Moleskein sketchbook...
I'll be going into work on Monday to make sure there's representation from my team at the important head honcho meeting - if my boss is still out sick, then I'll be there, if he makes it back, he can attend his meeting and I can give him my 3 week notice (Since I'll be taking the rest of that week off).
Current stuff in queue for Thanksgiving: STUFFING, BBQ pork & bro wants to barbeque - he mentioned steak and stuff...@_@

Edit: Some thoughts on Silver Diamond ch 56 (That'd end up in vol. 18 or 19, depending)
(After reading Ch. 55 and seeing summary of ch. 57)
Me: Chigusa with long hair = A+++++++ but since it's short in ch. 57 again, it must've been cut. Maybe it'll go like this:
Rakan: *cuts Chigusa's hair*
Chigusa : ^_^
Me: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, so moeeeeee
Me: *reads ch. 56*
Chigusa: *blah blah blah blah* plot stuff *blah blah blah* more plot stuff *blah - takes out the little knife thingie and starts casually hacking off his hair mid-dialog*
Me: ;_;
Chigusa: *pauses in hair hacking to hug Rakan*
Me: kyaaaaa
Kazuhi: This is a Chigusa-only thing, huh?
Touji: Probably because Rakan's not strict enough with him
Me: this is why I love him
Chigusa: *hacks the rest of his hair off*
Me: aw. :(
Goushi: We need to get you clothes.
Chigusa: Clothes? *just chillin' around shirtless....have been for the last few chapters, actually!*
Rakan: Oops totally forgot. o_0;
Me: AW. :(
............Well, at least the rest of the chapter (and a lot of the chapter at the beginning) is Narushige being-more-beautiful-than-you. Than anyone. And dealing with his bitch of a mother. And the Prince. And just generally really needing a few hundred hugs or so (he is going to get buried under hugs as soon as they find him, I swear. Or maybe after the dramatic battle that's coming, but MARK MY WORDS, THERE'LL BE HUGGINGS!)
