It's been a funky week, and by funky I mean that I've been in somewhat of a funk, though of course never really a serious one...
The cruise was fun. I'd say more except it could basically be summarized as "It would've been even MORE fun if I could eat as much as I wanted and actually drank and gambled". But it was interesting, and the places we went to in Ensenada, Mexico were very gorgeous.^_^ I wish we had a bit longer there!
My time of the month came the Friday after I got back, and my weekend was pretty much spent feeling hot and miserable. I helped out with my dad's church bbq event (by doing some errands here and there), and even though the thing was 4 hours, I stayed under the shade most of the time. I get back and I am tanned. OTZ. That sun, it is scary.
Sunday, Mel, Justin and I went to a ramen place, which was really good.^_^ Monday I spent half the day at work, half the day at home for mental and physical health reasons, most notably where in the afternoon when my stomach would shoot stabbing pains at me if I so much as sat up, but was pretty tame when I laid down. WTF, body?
So, now, we're wrapping up on the happy fun crampy times. The weather is still extremely blah, but at least it's not too humid. I can't wait for this upcoming weekend, bro's heading back, the weather's supposed to be turning, and I could use a holiday.
