Went to work.
Along with fellow coworker, talked to recently returned from medical leave co-worker, who just had surgery and was tired and stressed and had the area completely red and swollen, into going back to her surgeon and getting that checked. Got message later that her surgeon sent her to the ER to get the fluids drawn out and put her on IV and antibiotics. She's taking the rest of the week off, WHICH SHE SHOULD'VE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Found out that yet another co-worker (in Texas) was WORKING FROM THE HOSPITAL. Her tests came back positive and she's in her 4th round against leukemia. I am like, "WTF ARE YOU DOING WORKING, WOMAN!?" And the funny thing is I would've NEVER KNOWN if she hadn't asked if she could direct the guy asking questions to me, because "I'm in the hospital and my cell barely has any signal".
The third co-worker is off today. Her scheduled doctor appointment is Friday, but she's off today. I hope she's ok.
This is rather even more stupid than the usual work antics. PEOPLE, no life = no work, not the other way around!!!
Then, went to the gym with the first co-worker (Thankfully healthy) and she put me through some of the exercises her trainer makes her do. The squats were okay. The planks were not. The plank pushups and the leg thingies about killed me. I could barely do 30 min of cardio after that. Tomorrow I think I'll try the planks again...I was doing fine with just the basic one, so maybe if I add the pushup parts in slowly? My core muscles are weak, apparently.
And now, irony: I brought the doodles I started at work home. But I forgot my pencil. Oh, me.
