Slightly related, my flash drive is love and wonderfulness but strangely slow. Ah, well. To be expected from a 256mb version (My aunt and uncle got it for me when I visited them in Detroit, back when 256mb was considered a very large flash drive. :D)
Today is the first day of classes, which is why I am writing right now at 9:22am, PST, instead of at work, yanking my hair out about the budget. I suppose the only way to get the best of both worlds (go to school and get paid) is to become some sort of teacher. *le sigh*
But anyway. I have my stuff packed, including my laptop, a new folder with paper, money, checkbook, schedules, maps...I actually only have one lab so far that I've signed up for, but hopefully I can add the lecture for it once I attend the lecture and grovel for a permission number, and the same with the math class. If they end up offering the C/C++ programming class next semester, I shall be resigned and force a third class into my schedule. I just seriously hope the math schedule they had (where the department lists when certain courses are offered, be they fall, spring or summer) is accurate...
Now I just have to decide what to wear, what to eat, and what to do about dinner. Off I go!
