My car stereo was stolen a few weeks ago, and in the period before I bought a new one I sang "Burma Shave" and "Ninth and Hennepin" (those being the two songs I had the lyrics printed out for and had memorized). It's amazing how little I know a song when it's not playing.

Have you heard his song Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis? Yeah, I love his newer stuff, but tend to prefer his older stuff. The first song of his I ever heard of is was "Underground" from Swordfishtrombones. It made me want to dance around a campfire wearing only a loincloth.
I've been hooked ever since.
