I've started a new garden in the backyard. As you can see from the map we have groundhogs in our yard and in the yard next door.
The groundhogs have been here for a while now and they've been a welcome addition to the backyard. Yeah I said a welcome addition and yes they've dug a hole under the shed but I never cared about that because it wasn't like they were tearing up the yard. (Although I do feel sorry for my neighbor they dug a new hole a few weeks ago right into the hill that makes part of their back yard.)
The garden looks like this right now:
I'm growing peppers, carrots, wax beans, cucumbers, tomatoes and zucchini.
I'm hoping to avoid a battle over my veggies by the groundhogs and also the two squirrels that have just started to hang out in the yard two days after I started the garden (Coincidence? No.).
I'll just have to but some safe repellent or something because I can't hurt the little guys.
