AX 2007

I went. I saw. Nothing new. Nothing to get excited over. Nice to see some old friends of mine, but other than that I think I've just lost total interest in Anime-Expo. Or maybe it just sucks now. Who knows, it's in the eyes of the opinionated.

Shout-outs to:

Ryan,
Mike,
Kieran,
Kyle,
Laura,
David,

and I wish I could say Justin, but he was MIA during his signing =/ I haven't seen him in years...oh well. I'm glad I went - it just didn't nearly live up to the fun/excitement its had over the years. Infact, I wanted to leave pretty much as soon as I arrived. I was bored that quick. Maybe I'm just not into the Anime's that are popular now-a-days? I doubt I'll go next year unless there's a reason to.

I can remember all the way back to AX '01 when I got to meet Chris Sabat (the voice actor for Vegeta) for the first time...getting his autograph for my girlfriend at the time and flying out to Australia later that day. In '02, when I first met Kieran, Mike, Ryan, and Jon...and Mike and I went shopping with Laura Bailey and Eric Vale. To staying at Ryan's place with his annoying fire alarm buzzing every twenty seconds. To hanging out with Justin Cook for the weekend in which Ryan and I dubbed 'Justin Cook Con'.. To meeting Cherry, Orphelia, Sio, and dancing the nights away with them, Justin, and Mike McFarland. To sharing rooms with Jon Allen and Sonny Strait and all the drama which followed that. To taking Clyde with me in '05 and hanging out with him and Cherry, as well as making new friends. To bringing Jade with me in '06 and introducing her to Kieran and Eric (for better or worse) and all the fun/drama that came with that.

Good memories from AX '01 - AX '07. Bad memories as well. All in all I wouldn't trade them away. To all the friends I've made at AX; to all the friends I've made and lost at AX, it was fun while it lasted.
