Uh-oh
I got an e-mail from my dad the other day that said something that shocked the entire family (dads side). Hes thinking about getting back together with Nelly, his ex-wife. Now when I was younger and she was my step-mom, I hated her! With a passion! See, the thing with step-parents is, they usually don't care for you as much as their kids. I'm not saying that there aren't step-parents who don't love their husbands/wifes kids, but I am saying that theres a very high chance that there will be different feelings towards someone elses kids. Now, let me give you some history on this woman on why everyone is shocked to hear this news. When they were going through the divorce, she accused my dad of cheating. That was absolutley untrue!!! Not only that, but even after the divorce and he was out with his freinds- one female- she attacked him with a 2X4 bashing it over his back. She followed him down highways going over 90, tried to knock down his door with her shoulder so she could "talk" to him, called him names, and then would be trying to get him back the very next day. SHE WAS A PHSYCO!!! She still is as far as im concerned. Anyway, he called me to ask what he thought about it. We had a very long conversation about it, and the things he should do if he wants to try again. My brother doesnt know what to think of it as far as I know, my sister is totally against it and wont be visiting if they do get together, and as for me..... Ill support him 100% on what he decides on doing. Hes always done that for me, and Ill always do that for him. Now Im not for it, but if he really feels like hes ready for it then so am I. I just dont know how Ill act when I go back down there.
As for the costume hunt, I think I found something. Now Im not 100% sure if Im going to get it or not, so Im not telling anyone what it is unless I know for sure Im going to get it. All I can tell you is that its geeky! LoL! But it looks cool. I wanted something that looked authentic, and I did find a few things, but damn they're expensive. I was going to go with Leyla's idea and do the whole Jedi thing, but when I found an outfit that I would actually wear, it was over $700. And let me tell you, it certainly looked like it was $700 it was so good. So, I found something decent. Not as authentic as I'd like, but good enough to wear for one night. I really hope someone brings a camera with them. I want a group pic!
