Today I had to take my car in for its annual emissions test. I'm happy to report it passed. Now I have to write a big check to the state to renew my registration. I wish AZ had a flat fee for car registration.
This afternoon I took Babette to the Animal Fair at Reid Park. She got to show off her good looks and get all sorts of attention from people and other dogs. She was scared at first, but after a while seemed to enjoy the park. I didn't take any pictures until we got in the car to go home. Isn't she adorable?
When I asked her if she was ready to go home to see her daddy, she smiled:
In other news, I finally found a rug suitable for the living room. I ordered it tonight. I also got curtain rods for the bedroom windows. The new house is starting to look nice. Yay.
