'new' car
I got another 280z for only $250! I figured I would use it as a parts car and sell the rest and hope I make some $ off of it since I am fairly broke these days. The initial reason for looking into buying another car was because my other Z, the silver one, we found out had been rear ended and the auto body person have repaired with about 3 lbs of bondo! So needless to say, I was looking for replacement rear-end panels. I found the one I bought on craigs list just 25 mins from my house. It has a better rear-end, but not as good as I would have hoped. It does have much better doors and a hatch, which I got excited about because they are a rare find locally.
I worked on it for 12 hours total today and yesterday, stripped the interior and some of the exterior parts. It's amazing how meditative and relaxing disassembling a car can be. It's just me and my lil Z car. I have no worries... except crushing my fingers. My hands are a bit raw.
