I had a weird dream last night. I was at rehearsal for macbeth, only there were several hundred people in the play, and we were in the auditorium, not the boiler house. There was a part in my script which was filled with news stories and advertisements, no dialogue, and I was expected to know what to do with it. We were doing some kind of run-through. First, I had my complete works of shakespeare, and it had the ads and news stories in it, then, when I was supposed to be performing, I rushed out to my seat in the audience and searched around until I found the script which April gave us. It, too, had the news stories in it, only they were newer and more local (to WV). I didn't understand what I was supposed to do. I searched and searched for dialogue, but it wasn't there. April just got mad at me and at the girl who was also in that scene (neither of us could figure it out). Then they started a snow machine on us. Apparently, it was supposed to be snowing during the scene. The snow was actually cold though, and it covered the girl and me.
I woke up (in the dream) and it was hours later (about 5 hours later at about 1:30 AM). Everyone was still there. Apparently, they weren't allowed to leave until we woke up. I saw Shane Yeager (he was working on stage crew in the dream), and asked him what was going on. "You fell asleep, man." I just couldn't understand what was going on. Everyone left, mad at me. Elizabeth McCord was the assistant director, so I went up to her to figure out what I was supposed to have done. She was eating a salad (spring greens mix, or something like that) and saying something about being high and how it (the salad) helped her hide the fact. I started to demand to know what I was supposed to have done, and I apologized for falling asleep. I was so distraught that I started to cry. I never did find out what I was supposed to have done.
