Democratic high-fiving time
I'm allowing myself one day of biased, partisan glee.
I already feel better about having a uterus... and student loans and a queer identity and no Christian faith.
I try to stay relatively nonpartisan, but I really feel like a lot of Republican platform stances are just fundamentally wrong-- not just morally, but socially. I don't think the Democratic Party has it much better, but at least I feel like more Democratic candidates have The People at heart instead of... personal interest/moral majorityship/corporate beneficiaries.
I don't know. It's nice to not feel like I'm being suffocated, just for a little while.
