Double post from my Myspace, cause I'm lazy.

Allright, reading Mere Christianity I've found that he explains another facet of my beliefs (that I came to on my own) and names it.

So, rather than an agnostic deist, I am an agnostic pantheist.

What exactly does that gibberish mean?

Well, agnosticism is the belief that you truly can't know anything about the universe or God (if you believe in God). Which I do.

And a pantheist believes that God is beyond good and evil, and that morality is seperate from Him. Also, they believe not that God is omnipresent, but literally everywhere. God is in the rain, as it were. This is easiest to explain by simply stating that God and the universe are one.

So, putting those two together (although they kind of seem at odds), I believe that although I cannot truly know anything about God, that morality is seperate from Him, and therefore in a pantheist philosophy.

Got that?

Hope this interested someone. :D
