Well, I have quite a few things I should be doing like homework..although I found out I bought the wrong English book (even though it was the ONLY book listed under English 201..I got Volume 2, and was sposed to get Volume 1. How stupidly crappy is that?)..my only real homework assignment was to write a poem, piece of short fiction, or dramatic scene about my Creative Writing professor, and what I think about him. And EVERY time I've sat down to try (and it's been a handful of times now) nothing comes...I just can't seem to write anything that sounds good to me. And I'm talking about a page and a half of short fiction and 2 or 3 verses of a poem. I dunno. *sighs* I'll do my best and turn it in, and see what happens.
But classes have been good. My Philosophy professor didn't take role..he just said "Philosophy 101. That's where you are. If that's where your sposed to be, we are good. Let's go." And he's Scottish. Accent and everything. My English teacher pretty much said, "Allright look, I will be stressed cause I'm working on my PhD, so I will probably cuss a lot, as you can see by the fact that I've already said ass like twice. If this offends you, find another 201 class. Also, we will talk about sex, and most likely religion. If you are going to get offended, find another 201 class." I think I like this lady. My CW professor (Mr. Reitter (pronounced Writer, how ironic)) was also very interesting. He seemed to be a big proponent of class discussion. That class should be interesting to say the least. Last, but not least, my History class. I was underwhelmed by my teacher. His personality seemed as dry as a history book. I'm hoping it will be more interesting, but my hopes just aren't that high for it. Ah well.
Oh, and my roommate just showed up a little while ago. Apparently they just told him like yesterday they had a room for him, so he's here now. He's a band nerd, plays Alto and Baritone Sax. That and his name are about all I know about him. :-P He had to go buy books and then head to work. I get the feeling he's a VERY busy guy. Oh well, I guess I will get to know him. *shrugs*
So, in short, life is good. Nice and chill.
