Only 18 more days
That's right, only 18 more days until I'm off. I've devoted my morning to Best of Shanghai where I've learned about various temples, pagodas, vegetarian restaurants, Chinese Jews, and a punk rock bar with posters of Kurt Cobain and Bob Marley. My hands are clammy from a mixture of one-quarter nervousness and three-quarters excitement. In middle school I was afflicted with what seemed to be permanently clammy hands, and they made an appearance in my dating days as well. I hope this doesn't last through the trip, it's so embarrassing.
