There was this story I knew, about a boy whose father got re-married, and he ended up with a step-sister.  Now, of course his new stepsister was about his same age, and pretty.  Charming too, and he began to fall for her, even though deep inside he knew that he shouldn't become attatched.  romantic even.  but the close proximity made this difficult, and he began to catch wind that she was interested in him too.  and in all things human, they slipped up.  but as in all things human, she felt like the timing had passed.  that the fruits were soiled by situation.  That there was something...wrong.  Then there was her shrink.

The daughter had been seeing a therapist. Her therapist.  Ever since her mother had left, in that hail of emotion and terrible circumstances.  In that one time when no decision could be leveled up as bad, she needed help.  Problems and solutions, that was the specialty of the therapist.  To keep her safe.  to keep her contained, and away from harm.  and to keep her his.  As with all things human.

Needless to say, he didn't approve of her new lifestyle.

So she left her step brother alone, who was only befuddled, and shunted.  He was dangerous, because with out a way to know anything, he only knew what he couldn't do.  several evenings later, the family sat down to a lovely dinner, with stuffed mushrooms.  The boy watched his step sister pick up a mushroom cap.  He watched the mushroom slide on her lips, and wondered if he should stop her from eating the appetizers.  Since he had placed some crab inside the puree.  And he knew that his sister would die from her allergy.  He inhaled and...
