Scuds in my tank....
So I noticed a lot of weird black dots swimming around in my tank and are all over my plants. They look freaky and they irritated Felton. After asking around, I learned that these creepy-looking things are scuds, and they will eat whatever they can, including my plants. I heard they are the cockroach of the aquatic world, so it seems that the only way to get rid of them is to tear down my tank and start all over again. I ordered some potassium permanganate online and will dip my plants in it, along with dosing it in my tank. I will also bake my substrate in the oven to kill off any scuds hiding in there.
Felton hasn't been too hot, so I'll take this opportunity to medicate him.
