My plants after they went through the 20min long potassium permanganate dip. I also dipped my driftwood and filter in it too. I chose pot. permanganate over bleach because it is much easier on the plants. I've heard horror stories of people's plants melting after they did their bleach dip because they didn't dilute the solution enough, and I didn't want to risk that. Thanks to the pot. permanganate, the brown algae that were on my plants are gone too.
My main tank is currently outside under the sun after its disinfection. I'll let it sit outside for a few more days to let it dry out completely before setting up the tank again.
