Some more mini pics

I read a few things on basing minis and took to the store to get supplies. Some of the results actually surprised me how much I liked them. One of them turned out ehh so-so, but after the disney trip I will be acquiring a new way of making dungeon sets. And trying to make a wall out of low weight packing styrofoam is hard becuase is falls apart in chunks, which is good for rocks and what not, but not walls. Anyway here are a few new pics and some comments with each.

The tree is made from a grape stem and some hand made paper leaves. Rock is from my yard.

Added some grass to give it a patchy look and a small rock (from yard)

Gave him a big jutting boulder and some patchy ground. Added a faux grass moss look on the boulder (also a rock from the yard)

Not great, but styrofoam is a bitch to work with when not cutting and sculpting it with no hot wire cutter or a hot knife

Made a small outcropped grass hill from styrofoam and a tree from Pipecleaners and sheet moss (which is stinky lol). This is the one that came out the best so far. I love this one.

Just got a new foam today that I will play with this weekend and make a few bases with it and see how it turns out. Should be a lot easier to sculpt and design with. My trees still need a bit more work but my first one (the one shown) came out fairly well.
