What a fabulously long week this has been - and you should note that this is coming from an entity that has been around since before time started in this existence. You would think that, with my relative scale perspective, I'd not even notice a week - or even a year. However, since I live in all possible times in this reality all at once - I've lived about an infinite number of iterations of this particular week already, and I am damn well tired of it. It's fortunate that I am also already after all time as well; that allows me to premember that this week too shall pass into nothing.
Though I must admit, the reality where it was revealed this week that Obama actually is the offspring of one of your various gods, and that he is here to redeem* you all - that's a fun version of this week.
Of note in this week's batch of pics - there is an illustrated nude girl in there and she is amongst... well, you will just have to check it out.
First off, if you ever wondered what kind of path I was leading you down, suspecting perhaps some kind of primrose one, I can assure you it is nothing like that at all. It's more something along these lines.
However, in case you were wondering what a primrose actually looks like (I know I was), you can
check it out over here. Helpful devil is helpful.
In other news, obviously I heard a while ago about GC passing away. More recently though, I found this:
Ya know - well handled George. I'm glad that I actually got to see you up close whilst you were living. You were a great and bold man.
As you all well know, I like animated gifs, especially ones involving cats. I also like them cuz they are useful for hypnotizing
the_xtina. Here's one that meets my needs quite nicely.
Now that was all so restful that I need to kick up the beat a bit, just to keep you all awake.
Here... this will help.
And speaking of dance moves - this engine, is it just me, or does it has danze?
I recently ran across a pic of one of my old girl friends. I had never really thought of myself as a tail-man, but she really had it going on.
and let me tell you - see how well she is handling that ball? Enough said. The only real problem was that she had been manifested into the flesh in Russia, and thus had learned to speak their language. Fortunately, I found a handy book that helped us along. Here, I took a picture of a particularly helpful page:
My favorite: "Is that why you are still single?"
Next, here, I help you to keep some perspective on things:
Speaking about changing perspective... this captures my thoughts quite nicely.
Just so ya know - the cosmos does have this level of ironic justice in it. Unfortunately, it occurs at a scale and on a time frame that is difficult for mortal beings to perceive. Trust me. Your current generation of government leadership - the ironic justice in the pipe of them will play out over a millennia.
I recently ran across this pic over in the
fail blog. The weird thing is that I have seen this statue in real life. It is in Bennington, VT, in front of a museum for which I used to do tech support. I remember when I first came upon this statue...
... I was like "Oh your gods, is that really a statue of Lincoln having his way with a young boy and his mother?"
I went over and check with representatives from the porn industry to see what their thoughts about the Lincoln statue were. A picture, as usual, sez it all.
Ok - just kidding. What is really happening in this picture is she is saying "The eye liner! It burns!"
While I was visiting with the porn reps, they also pointed out this interesting new safer sex awareness campaign. It is... eye catching.
I dunno. I think that girl is swimming into trouble, so much trouble that a rubber bubble isn't going to be of much help.
And now, unrelated to penises in any way, I went and saw the Wall-E movie a bit ago, which I quite enjoyed. Since then, I've been somewhat bothered by the heavy marketing. However, I've not gotten too hard-hearted about it yet, as this still made me go "Awwww!"
Recently, I have had several conversations about the lack of craft and beauty in the day to day architecture and design of our world. Making the world beautiful should be just as important as making it efficient or sturdy. This fire escape is a good example of what I mean.
They could have just slapped something up. Rather, they took the time to put in something with a little extra flourish. It's that little extra that really makes the difference.
Don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't understand that craft and beauty typically make things more expensive. Lots of folks are struggling, especially now a days. Well, except for these guys.
This just in - mankind finally apologizes to the Panda for years of abuse:
It's a first step. Only several million more abused life forms to go.
And while we are on the subject of abused life forms...
See if you can read the t-shirt. That was a real bonus.
Here's an e-card which made me think of, well, a whole slew of my friends. You know who you are.
Just went you think that you finally understand how everything works and the nature of the cosmos, something like this happens.
After finding the moon in the field, I carefully examined it. It appeared to be in fine shape, and I couldn't see any obvious reasons why it had floated down out of the sky. I gave it a little lift, and back up it went, to its proper place in the heavens.
I swear that my experience with the moon had nothing to do with any plants I might have run across earlier in the evening. Here - I got a pic of them.
They were so tasty. They tasted like the sky.
So that's about it. I know, you're probably thinking - that was one awesome post, what could possibly make it more awesome? Well let me show you what.
Yeah. The awesome factor is now at max.
* By which I mean that he is going to use all of your souls like one would with a coupon at a grocery store. In this particular case, he is using it to get 40% off his own private sub-cosmos. I understand it's verra nice.
