And now, a real update

Doctor's appointment today went fine.  I didn't even have to take off any clothes!  I did have to pee in a cup though.  Basically, I went in to go over my bloodwork that I had taken after the last appointment.
Sugar = fine
STDS = negative
RH factor = not a factor
Blood type = I already knew what it was, O+
Anemic = Yup, still am.  But only borderline.  Her biggest concern was the actual QUANTITY of red blood cells.  My blood is pretty dilute already, apparently, and it will just get worse as time goes by.  The doc (actually, a nurse practitioner) said that because of my issue with oral iron supplements, we're going to wait a month and see if it drops any further.  It might not, because the pre-nates have iron in them, and I'm consciously trying to eat more iron-rich foods like broccoli, spinach, and red meat, among other things (if you have any good suggestions/recipes, that'd be helpful, but I don't/won't/can't eat liver!)  The reason for the waiting is my ulcer.  My throat has been getting a little "sticky" and every now and then I have problems swallowing again.  Scary stuff, but not nearly as scary as before, when I didn't know what was causing the issues.  Anyway, I'm going to the GI as soon as I can after the baby is born.

There was one result that didn't come back yet, for Parvovirus.  Not the same one that dogs get in the kennels, but related to it, and it's usually prevelant in daycares.  She said she'd just call me on that one.

Also, weight wise, I'm perfectly on track.  I'm supposed to gain 1/2 lb every two weeks, and that's exactly what I did.  I didn't even go to the gym more than 2 times!  (I will go more, when I have the energy!)

My parents are bound and determined that we're having a girl.  Which leads me to believe that I'm having a boy.  Just because they are so gosh-darned positive.  The funniest thing is my dad trying to give me advice on what to eat and about how I'm not supposed to scoop the cat box out.  I just let him ramble on and tell me his "new information" that I've known for years. It makes him feel important.

In other news, the little germ factories have given me an inexplicable fever.  It hasn't gotten high yet, but I've had it for two days and it annoys me.  I've also been really thirsty, probably because of the fever.  The doc said to call if it gets above 102 degrees, and to take tylenol if it starts to bug me or looks like it's creeping up.

Absolutely nothing else is new. I'm really quite boring! :)
