Attack of the 15 year old emo kids!

oh.my.goodness. so tired... but it was totally worth it. Last night Mike and Kat and Jonathan and I drove to orlando (thats a two hour drive for those of you not in florida) in order to go see the nintendo fusion tour at hard rock live, which included the following:
a. the sleeping
b.emory
c. plain white t's
d. relient k
e. hawthorne heights
and it was...spectacular. I'm nearly deaf now because we were sitting right next to the speakers near the front of the balcony (which was an awesome place to sit, btw, becuase we had a completely uobstructed view of the stage). All of the bands were amazing, with the highlights definitely being Plain White T's and hawthorne heights. the sleeping was the only one that wasnt very good, and that was only because of their lead singer. he's not as good as the rest of the musicians in that band are. But that's ok. It was still an absolute blast.
And me being me, i had procrastinated and therefore ended up writing a paper on John Stewart Mill and ultilitarianism on the way home, 12 at night, stuck in Orlando construction traffic. It was highly amusing. we didn't get home till 2, and i totally made it to my 9 am class today...I'm so proud.
Honestly though, i think the most amusing thing about the whole concert was watching all the little teeny boppers trying to mosh, and subsequently getting kicked out, while the parents that were dragged along by their kids watched in horror everytime someone on stage cursed. Thank God we were in the balcony.
