Cao, vidi mo se opet!
So, today is the last official day of my 2007 European Summer Extravaganza. My flight leaves tomorrow morning at 6:30 for Zagreb. Then I fly to Frankfort, then Washington, then Cincinnati and then my brother drives me home to Louisville. That means that this summer I will fly on a total of 11 Planes. It will take me approximately 20 hours to get home.
I'm not particularly looking forward to flying all that time by myself, nor am I looking forward to the food, or the rude people or the jet-lag. But I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed for the first time in two months. I am also looking forward to seeing my brother and all of my friends and being able to walk into a store and buy something in a language I completely understand. And driving places myself and staying out as late as I want to, and dance parties, and girl nights, and watching TV and going to the movies. I could do without the humidity, but I will just have to deal with it.
I packed all my bags already so now I just have to worry about making all my flights on time (I literally just knocked on wood) so that I don't get stuck on some airport forever. Wish me luck, hopefully everything will go as planned.
