Fulfilling my friend's

September 2006 was probably one of the best and happiest month in my life so far... or at least of the past years. ;)
On September 4th, I left home to go to Frankfurt where I met up with my friend and website hoster Sash and left Frankfurt the next morning, heading for the USA. First stop Detroit, crazy 3 hour layover, then off to Chicago where I met
sawyersjewel . It was so great to finally see my friend in real life, same with her hubby, and to spend time with some real Lost-aholics like myself. I spent almost a week in Chicago, then
sawyersjewel and I flew to LA for a 12 hour layover that we used to meet up with 2 fellow fuselagers Yu-Kailin (doesn't she have LJ or why is she not on my f-list?) and
surreality_fan . Then the next morning, we were off to Hawaii, without a doubt, the most beautiful place on this planet earth and definitely one of my biggest dreams coming true... even more... it was a dream that I never dared dreaming, coming true.
I posted most of my pics in several LJ posts in 2006 (you will just have to go digging ;) ) but
sawyersjewel asked me to post my favorite moments from my trip to the US. This won't be easy at all...
One of the best things was meeting other Fuselagers:
It was a really great feeling not to be the only one anymore obsessing about Lost and to finally put faces to the usernames.
Another highlight: Bumping into Lost cast members... some planned, some unplanned. ;)
Visiting sets of Lost... holy ground...
Cruising the island with my friends...
... singing our song. ;)
Seeing... crazy stuff... ;)
Seeing places so beautiful it was almost surreal...
