Grrr... this is the week from hell... I'm just insanely busy.
Sunday I didn't get to bed until 4am, got caught up on some internet stuff (totally my own fault) but no biggie since I don't start working before 2pm. I thought... *rollseyes* It was about 9am when my phone rang... So me, rolled around in bed and tried to ignore it. Just had gotten back to sleep, when it rang again. Me, still ignoring... well this game went on for the next two hours until I decided to get up... I had about 11 missed calls on my normal phone and 2 on my cell phone. All with private caller ID. GAH! I waited for about half an hour until I almost fell asleep in my chair again (phone didn't ring, of course), then I decided to leave the phone in the bathroom (furthest from my bedroom) and cover it with dirty laundry, so I wouldn't hear it, and went back to bed. Got up at around 1pm, all puffy eyed and tired, checked phone. 8 more missed calls.... *rollseyes*
Went to work, was greeted by our secretary: Please call the other office, your boss there is trying to reach you... Well now I knew at least WHO was calling me all morning. Of course, I immediately started to worry if I had done something wrong, forgotten to lock the door maybe, after my course on Saturday? Before I could call my boss, I had to take care of my students, then I needed coffee. Had just arrived at the kitchen, when my phone rang but it wasn't my boss but one of my private students who cancelled our lesson on Monday because he had to study for his Physics exam. Then I called my boss back and she told me that she needed a concept paper for my lessons with one of our students. He's a bit of a special case and the concept paper is really important (don't want to go into details right now) but then my boss told me that we have to hand that concept paper in by Wednesday. She felt really bad for rushing me so much with it but I said it's okay.
I had no idea how long this stupid thing would take me. *rollseyes* It's some kind of time table, I had to work out for him. 80 lessons, covering all of English grammar. Piece of cake, huh? I started at around 7pm and finished at 3am.
Yep... so did not plan that. I thought it'd take me 2 hours or so... *rollseyes at self* Of course I did not ONLY work on it the whole time, watched TV (LOST!) and chatted on the side but still... GAH!
Right now I'm working on two translations that another of my students did, and she has her exam on Thursday, so I promised her to email her corrected translations before Wednesday ... only problem. I had to type up the (handwritten) translations first and then correct them or I couldn't email them. *sigh* My pounding headache isn't really helping either. And I didn't get too much sleep last night due to working till 3am and then sometime this morning my nose was blocked and wouldn't let me sleep.
Meh.
Okay... end of rant... here's the calender for today (postponing yesterday's calender till tomorrow... :( )
I don't know about you but I'm the kind of person that sits in the cinema watching a movie and really getting into it. I usually don't look at it and go: "Oh that's really good/bad writing/ directing/ photographing/ acting there." Especially if it's the first time that I see a movie, I really want to enjoy it and really want to be taken up by it. In this state where I kinda "live" in the movie, I usually don't notice anything and just go with the flow. IF I notice something, it has to be either REALLY bad OR REALLY GOOD. As in amazingly, mind-blowing good.
In terms of acting, this has only happened to me twice. That I watched something and totally went "Woah! OMG! That is so good!", chills running down my spine because of the acting.
First time this happened was during the movie Gladiatior, and no, it was not Russel Crowe who got me all excited.
Second time... um... well... let's just say the actor just had a birthday. ;)
This picspam, however, is devoted to the first actor: The most brilliant Joaquin Phoenix! (my twin requested that I "do him" ;) )
