Advent Calendar - 9th December

Eeek. Way behind with this thing. Dang.

So this is the entry for Wednesday. Oh yes... worked till 6:30pm, then talked a little with my boss before driving back to Co. I was starved but not in the mood for cooking and I thought that one of my former BE courses had a meet-up at a pub but I wasn't in the mood for eating there, so I headed into town, to our Christmas market and got something to eat there. Lots of food stuff there, I had a galette and for dessert I was set on getting a sweet crepes. The guy at the crepes stall was so weird. He seemed to speak almost no German, had no clue about what kinds of crepes they offer or about prizes. And he was super slow. The woman in front of me ordered a tomato-mozzarella crepes and only when he looked at the menu to check the prize, he realized that they offer 2 different tomato-mozzarella ones at 2 different prizes. I ordered mine with plum butter and he put Nutella on it. Then realized his mistake and looked at me puzzled. At this point I'd already waited for so long, so I said it doesn't matter, I take it anyway. (I'd been pondering the Nutella one anyway). The crepes was rather expensive too (they were "organic", if you ask me that was just an excuse to choose another Euro) and when I ate it the dough tasted like it was half raw and there was only a tiny bit of Nutella on them. Raw, tasteless crepes... yum... NOT!
After I had finished it, I felt a bit sick. It was freezing cold, not temperature wise but it was so dank and cold, it just went straight to my bones. All I wanted was get somewhere warm. I headed for the pub where my BE course wanted to meet and peeked into the windows. Suddenly I wasn't sure if I had the correct date and I couldn't see any of them sitting in there (big windows, small pub). Combined with my feeling slightly sick, I decided I had the wrong date and headed back for my car.
When I was home, I changed into my warmest pullover, got my Norwegian fur boots on and still sat there shivering for hours until I got a little warm. Also it seemed like the coldness had sucked all the energy out of my body, I was so tired. Of course then I popped my SPN season 1 DVDs into my player and watched through the first disc instead of going to bed. *rolls eyes at self*
Oh and I checked my emails and found out that the meet-up WAS this week and not next week. Obviously there's a 2nd floor at the pub and that is were they sat. And they seemed a little upset that I didn't come. Yay me. :(

Anyway. Before I almost food-poisoned myself with the crepes, I took some pictures. :)
