This makes me die with gleeful laughter.

Before I wasn't much for mocking other ships on purpose, but the way Zutarians are insisting they are/will be canon and how they treat my ship.... *breathes fire* >=O I'm not going to waste my time with them, but if they come near me, they will be mocked. I can't think of a group of shippers who deserve it more. Even the anti SasuSaku shippers in the Naruto fandom aren't that bad.

Mai and Zuko both look strange in the storyboards. But then, they are just drafts. They both look incredibly beautiful in the animated sequence. Like SERIOUSLY BEAUTIFUL. I never really use that with Avatar since the animation is so toonish, but the Maiko scene in 301 was just breath-takingly beautiful.

And Mai's smile. askjdkljd!!... When she smiled at Zuko my breath just caught. [These Avatar ladies are giving me the tendencies to play for the other team. ^^;] And when they looked in each other's eyes before that! You won't see that if you were too busy bashing the couple, but if you were watching closely, you'll catch the precious frames and GOD--so beautiful!!! I don't care what other viewers say, pictures--and in this case, moving pictures--say so much and the frames of this animation just said what needed to be said: Mai loves Zuko, Zuko loves Mai, they understand each other far better than most viewers understand them.
