Maiko
Iroh paced in the kitchen of his teashop. He looked constantly at the room where Zuko was sleeping, afraid he would become even sicker. He had fallen terribly ill, and Iroh was worried sick.
" Uncle. " Zuko mumbled.
Iroh was immediately at his side. " Yes nephew, what is it? " He asked, checking Zuko for an increase in his fever.
" Where's Mai? " He asked.
Iroh remembered Mai. She was Zuko's childhood crush, although he didn't admit it, anyone would be able to tell. Once he was banished he never spoke of her until this moment.
" Mai's not here Zuko. " Iroh said.
" Where is she? Is she safe? " He asked frantically.
" She's fine Zuko. She is in the fire nation, perfectly safe. " Iroh said, pushing him back down onto the bed.
" I love her so much Uncle, I think about her everyday. "
Iroh nodded.
" I miss her. She used to smile, and she was so beautiful. Azula was so mean to her though. "
" I know. " Iroh said.
" When can I see her? " He asked.
" I don't know nephew, when the time is right your paths will cross. "
" Oh. " He said.
" Yes. Now, go back to sleep and get some rest. "
Zuko lay back down. " I love her. " He mumbled, before falling back asleep, dreaming of Mai.
