Wow. So I'm back home, have been since Saturday lunctime. Flight up was made of suck - got delayed in Dunedin and Christchurch by almost half an hour. Technically should have missed the connection through to Palmy, because we got in fifteen minutes late, but they'd held the plane for me and the other lady who were heading through. Damned weather.
The turbulence coming into Chch was fun, watching everyone's heads bob in synch.
Went to the speedway on Sunday, watched much crashes. Luuuuuv's Demolition Derby. Then there were fireworks. Not as good as Manfeild, which is supposed to be tonight. It won't be.
Damned weather. It's snowing down south. In November. November is supposed to be summer. It's not. Because it's snowing.
Dunedin is going to get snowed on. Just when I leave.

We have a calf. It's cute.
We have ducklings. Two are a few weeks old, two more hatched two days ago. They're fluffy and yellow. And cute. Should be getting chicks sometime soon.
My lambs are no longer cute.

Walked up Stanway Rd to Makino Rd yesterday. It's a nice walk. If it weren't raining cats and dogs, and if it weren't blowing a gale, then I'd be walking down to the river. *sigh*

New kitchen. I haven't mentioned the new kitchen. It's blue. We have no oven. We only got water yesterday.

Finally, NaNo.
Being the undecisive person that I am, I'm no longer doing the desperate whitecoats fic. I'm instead going back to do the AU. I just can't ID with the DW characters, they're still too vague, whereas I can deal with the AU fic, because only three of the main characters are OC's. And there is no Total.
Wordcount is a lousy 4000 right now. I have excuses, but they don't fly with anyone. Specially not me, because I know better.
Nathan's After Dark is looking trippy right now, and I likes the Catgulls. Much.
