Late post, late post, but I no longer have access to 24/7 internet connection while I'm here in Palawan, so I have to make do.
Our flight was at 3:15 in the afternoon, Cebu Pacific airlines. It's my first time in Terminal 3, and it was a nice place. Kind of like the airport in Singapore, yet smaller. It was good to see that they have many counters for checking in. Disappointing though, because they only had 1 counter open for checking in for the flight bound to Puerto Princesa. They did open another counter, but it was still so slow. Mama paid 1400 for excess baggage, since they only allow 15kg per passenger, and there were four of us, Mama, Pong, Grey, and me. Our baggage totaled to 73.5 kg, and per kg excess is worth 100 pesos. There goes the cheap ticket.
So amidst the terrible weather, and seeing all flights delayed, and hearing announcement of flights canceled, the waiting lounge filled with passengers, we had to sit on the floor. We were like OFWs stranded on airports. XD
Our flight got delayed to 4:00. Nothing much to do but wait around. We got some seats though, so it was better that the cold floor.
Finally, Palawan! I'd like to kiss the ground, it was freaking scary up there, with every turbulence causing the plane to vibrate like hell, especially in the bad weather. But alas, it's raining. My nephew requested to be carried by Mama. I cannot risk that, she might slip. So being the good child (yea right), that I am, I offered to carry him instead. And I was wearing heels. Why do I always dig my own grave?
Car, car, car. Good thing we didn't have to wait too long. After getting our baggage we headed to Balinsasayaw for our dinner, because we'll have an approximately 3 hour drive afterward.
The car's CD player is defective, and we had to make do with the radio. I had my iPod, but no speaker. I think I just annoyed them by singing for like 2 hours non-stop. LOL.
That was one tiring day. But at least I'm home now.
