Get Rid of The NHS
Today I went to see my Opthamologist. I now have to go all the way to Welwyn Garden City by Uber, because the Hertford one has closed. He basically did exactly the same tests as the other 3 (I get a different specialist every time) and told me what I already know. I complained that I have now been waiting almost 2 years for the eye op. He agreed that was too long and said he'd do what he could to move it along. However, he wants me back in 3 months, so that's a fair sign it ain't gonna move along quickly. It's important because if it isn't done before my right eye starts to get affected by the new tumour, my eyesight will be completely fucked.
I then dropped a line to by brain surgeon to remind the team that since my second tumour was discovered six months ago, is me having another MRI and the tumour getting bigger.
It's all pretty 3rd world. The service is dire, the communication is dire. The NHS has to be scrapped and let's go on to the Dutch system.
And it is COLD!
