OOC POST:
Since Orochimaru dropped and I don't want to fall into the whole HELLO I WAS MARRIED TO YOU if a new Orochimaru shows up, I'm basically resetting Gai. In essence, this means that from this post on,it is a new Maito Gai fresh from canon. I've talked to the characters he interacts the most with already about this decision, I hope I did not miss anyone as far as that is concerned.
