Motor City Madness!!!

 What up, y'all?

Saw WWE's "Monday Night RAW" live last night at Joe Louis with Shila (her birthday gift to me).
Very fun time. We parked in the Joe Louis Garage and took the People Mover over to The Hard Rock
Cafe and had some dinner. It took us a little while for our waitress to actually get to
us because the place was pretty packed (I noticed more than a few wrestling t-shirts around us).
The burgers were pretty good and the fries were awesome. Cool music items on the walls.
Shila was thrilled to find a guitar signed by her rock god, David Bowie. We also found an old dress
worn by Diana Ross which makes me think that back in her hey-day she only consumed water and a MAYBE
a half cup of rice a day. I also decided that I would look dead-sexy in Slash's leather pants.
We headed back over to Joe Louis were we stood outside with thousands of wrestling nerds waiting to be
let inside. Shila found herself a cute pink-camouflage John Cena baseball cap (perfect for hiding from
a homosexual baseball team) and was nice enough to by me a souviner program.
Our seats were fairly high up, but our view of the ring and stage wasn't bad (unless some dickheads
walked up or down the aisle stairs). For some reason, people keep entering and leaving our row
which forced us to keep standing up to let them by. Shila wanted to take the young boy next to her home.
He was about 5 or 6 years old dressed in a Shawn Michaels shirt and straw cowboy hat.
We spotted our PPV friend from Bailey's, Donnie, with our binoculars. He had a KILLER seat a few rows
from ringside, so I'll have to beat his ass on Sunday.
The crowd was super loud and it was a blast to be there for Jeff Hardy's return after a 60-day suspension.
The whole show was a blast, especially the extra cage match after RAW had gone off the air, and the
hi-jinx after the match by Triple H, HBK, and Cena.
Thank you, Shila, for a great time! You're the freakin' best! :)

I also saw the Spotlight Player's musical, "Company" on Saturday.
Everyone did a really nice job. Very funny moments throughout, and
Meg blew everyone away with her number "Getting Married Today".
Steve, Wendy, and Mike Cuba were there, too.

Did I mentioned before how "Rehearsal For Murder" was the only show to turn a profit in like . . .forever??
Our cast kicks so much ass, it's not funny . . .  :)

Christian and Kim were there as well and he talked my ear off a few times about auditioning for
his next show he's directing at Spotlight.
I think I feel a bad headache coming on . . .

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jason! Sorry you can't drink for a while,
but we'll make up for that eventually, right?

Peace out, kids,

-Brian
