Last I saw, it seemed that Ancalagon had buggered off with Earendil and the Silmaril. But Thorondor went after him so everything should be okay.

I do hope he's okay. I know we've had our differences but dammit, I like Earendil. He's always put Elros' feelings before his own and besides...we need him to tag-team Morgoth with Turin at the last battle.
